LOS ANGELES (AP) - Lindsay Lohan was late to his first day of community service at the mortuary and the county was hijacked Thursday, another hiccup in the effort of the actress to prove to a judge that it complies with the terms of his probation.
Lohan was said to arrive at 8:00 for an orientation session, but arrived 40 minutes late, the spokesman Craig Harvey. The actress said to try again Friday, but will arrive at 7:00, he said.
Steve Honig, spokesman for Lohan said in a statement that the actress was late because she didn't know whereunto report and input "and the confusion caused by the media awaiting his arrival."
Lindsay Lohan has apologized later Thursday on Twitter. "I'm sorry for the confusion I could have done to those of the coroner's office. Will not happen again, I now know where to go! "Lohan tweeted.
"With all the stress and pressure of yesterday and today, I've never been so happy to go to therapy!!!!" She too twirled.
The "Mean Girls" star late arrival at the morgue came one day after she was reprimanded by a judge to be terminated by an assignment of community service in a women's shelter. The hearing ended with Lohan's probation is revoked and his being led from court in handcuffs.

Lindsay Lohan is going to work mainly concierge at the morgue, said Harvey. His duties include cleaning and storage of toilets, wash floors and washing the sheets that the institution uses, he said.
The actress must return her cell phone while working at the morgue and must bring their own lunch, Harvey said.
