WHO? Vanessa Bruno
IN BRIEF: mid-1960 have been an inspiration, both in full term* of the sound track and the prevalence of thigh-skimming tunics and minis. There was too a nod to the silver leaf inlaid to 60 of the future, with silver lurex fabrics make their way into just about every look. They were spliced into patchworks of Liberty and the lawn stitched fabrics for a look that could be summarized in shorthand as Barbarella Granny.
Beg, borrow or bargain: We loved loved patch work tunics paired with skinny minis money. It shouldn't act but it only does.
VERDICT: Much to the Paris Fashion Week is good on paper (or at least on the track), but actually? Not so much. However, this collection was entirely credible in its portability - and it's much more rare than you might think PFW. Bruno took the prim and old-fashioned and it recreates shimmering summer dressing and effortless which is just as perfect to beat Wall Street* of Paris as it's to pound the podium.
